This is your chance to have a lot of fun and also help the community at the same time. Running for Mardi Gras King Rex or Queen Divine is a fundraising campaign and dollars are votes. The king & queen candidates that raise the most money are crowned King Rex and Queen Divine.

 

We have regular mixers that serve as fundraising opportunities and are a huge amount of fun. Many people love the Mardi Gras Festivities because it gives them a chance to see old friends that they haven’t seen in a while and it also gives a great opportunity to make new friends – some of which can become lifelong relationships. It’s all about the fun while raising money for The Leesburg Partnership.

   
The Leesburg Partnership is responsible for many of the improvements we have seen in our community and brings quality businesses and events to Leesburg every year. The Partnership is always looking for new opportunities to improve our community and ways to get people together for fun and laughs. They work with area businesses and governments in an effort to beautify our area and strengthen our economic growth.

The Partnership continues to grow and help our community as long as we keep raising the funds to support this worthy organization. The main fundraiser of each year is Mardi Gras and that’s where YOU come in! We work hard to make sure it is a fun and exciting time and hopefully Mardi Gras 2005 will raise a record amount of money.
